80 safer places to park with Southeastern trains
Southeastern has been awarded a total of 80 Park Mark awards across its franchise at stations from Hertfordshire to the Kent Coast. Meteor Parking, a subsidiary of VINCI Park Services UK, manage the sites and received high praise from the British Transport Police and the British Parking Association (BPA).
Bill Weir, Contract Manager at Meteor Parking Ltd said: “We are delighted to have retained the Safer Parking accreditations for our sites across the South East. At VINCI Park UK and Meteor Parking we take great pride in working in partnership with our clients providing innovative and high quality customer service, so it is tremendously satisfying for us to be recognised for our work with Southeastern trains. We’re grateful for the hard work of all team members in helping us to achieve this recognition.”
Mike Bibby, BPA Area Manager said: “Meteor Parking has held Safer Parking status for this franchise for some time now and have continued to return very good standards when visited for re-assessments.
“I am particularly pleased with their commitment, in conjunction with Southeastern and I commend their role in ensuring that additional parking facilities meet the requirements of the award. Regular travellers can feel confident that sufficient security measures are in place at the sites managed by Meteor, and every effort is being made to ensure these facilities are safe and welcoming to users.”
